Joining the ranks of ' fashion world families ', Poppy Delevingne and younger sister Cara are in the midst of a fashion moment, seemingly sitting front row or strutting the catwalks at every show in London. But who exactly are these blue-blooded beauties?
Poppy, Cara and their older sister Chloe are the granddaughters of former English Heritage boss Sir Jocelyn Stevens, who was also the founder of the 60s pirate radio station, Radio Caroline. Growing up in a Belgravia mansion, the daughters of Selfridges personal shopper, Pandora, and property developer, Charles, rubbed shoulders with the likes of Lily Allen and the Jagger children at their Hampshire boarding school, Bedales, and count Condé Nast's managing director, Nicholas Coleridge as a godfather.
Delving into modelling when she became the face of her family friend, Lady Bamford's clothing line, long-legged beauty Poppy Delevingne has secured her place in the fashion world by notching up campaigns for Anya Hindmarch, Mango and Burberry, and becoming a regular in fashion's most star-studded front rows. Recently made an 'ambassador' of Chanel, she can often be seen cosying up to fellow 'Fideles', stylist Caroline Seiber, DJ Leigh Lezark and American socialite, Vanessa Traina, bedecked in the brand's latest collection.
Hot on Poppy's modelling heels, little sister Cara, a regular model for Asos.com, has been welcomed into the Burberry modelling family, as the face of their spring/summer 2011 campaign and with Clarks Originals and A|Wear campaigns firmly under her belt.
