TREND LOVING: PASTEL HUES!

Spring is around the corner and as the color of the season changes make way for sugary pastel hues.think lavender, powdery blues, pale yellows, pistachio and muted pinks!unlike last year's excess use of primary colors ,spring 2012 is all about tranquil colors!we are sooooo looking forward to it!time to store those berry hues that we have been sporting all winter!

Spring for Preen meant cupcake colors placed on crisp pencil skirts and slacks. Pastel checkers proved the color palette's statement-making potential. The versatility of the shades is clear: Play it coy in lavender capris or make your look pop with peach and canary. But maybe leave the baby blue crop-top to the professionals.

Very unexpected of Vera Wang, the go-to designer for classic silhouettes to showcase a very sportswear inspired collection but the sugary colors make the clothes to look delish to get behind!

fashionistas all over have been seen sporting this trend!Kate Bosworth,Rosie Huttington-Whitley,AMber Heard(love the red lips against the lilac),Rachel Bilson have all been spotted wearing these whimsical colors!

Marc Jacobs collection for Louis Vuitton was all about pretty pastels and girly silhouettes.first when we saw the collection we were a bit skeptical about the clothes, they looked well suited for little girls but come to think of it now,the genius that he is was bang on trend with the collection!

Philip Lim gave us a cool dose of creamy sherbet and icy lemon flavors for his spring line. The forever-hip designer translated downtown-chic into sugary tints of silky trousers, lax blazers and airy blouses that promise to not give you a toothache.
